Beyond the Badge NY’s mission is to raise awareness of the mental health and suicide crisis among first responders. We work to spotlight a positive image for those who find the strength to come forward and seek the help they deserve. We also provide financial support and services to first responders, as well as to the families of those who have died by suicide.
Our mission honors and preserves the memory of those lost too soon while creating an outlet for camaraderie beyond life on the job. We strive to make a lasting difference in the lives of our first responders, just as they strive to protect our local communities and smash the stigma surrounding mental health treatment.
